Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Full reimbursement less service charges
Processing Duration: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for card payments
Requirements: Cancellation request must be made in writing through email or over the phone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total yacht rental fee
Processing Duration: 7-10 working days
Service Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount
Requirements: A credible cause required; administrative costs accounted for
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No compensation available
Exception: Urgent cases may be considered for an exception
Alternative: Issuance of a charter credit may be determined by management
Requirements: Proof needed for urgent situations
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment to Safety
Safety remains our foremost concern. Should weather conditions be assessed as unsafe for sailing by our certified captain, we offer the following options:
- Full Refund: if rescheduling is not feasible
- Rebooking: Transfer your rental to an alternative suitable date at no additional cost
- Charter Credit: Issue a voucher valid for one year from the date of the original rental
Process for Evaluating Weather
An evaluation of weather conditions includes:
- Analysis of wind force and orientation
- Assessment of wave stature and sea state
- Forecasts for visibility and precipitation
- Notices and alerts from the Coast Guard
- Captain's appraisal of maritime safety
Decision-making Time Frame: Determinations for weather-related cancellations are made a minimum of 4 hours in advance of the intended departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Consideration for Emergencies
We recognize that medical urgencies may arise. Instances that might fall under exceptional consideration include:
- An unexpected ailment or injury necessitating hospital care
- Loss of an immediate family member
- Call-up or urgent recall for military service
- Mandatory jury duty or legal summons
- Disasters that impact travel plans
Necessary Documentation
In order to expedite a request for an emergency refund, the following documentation is required:
- A medical statement or documentation from the hospital
- Death certificate, if relevant
- Official military directive
- Subpoena for court or notice for jury duty
- Travel warnings or declarations of a crisis
Refund Timeline: Emergency-related refunds are executed within 3-5 business days subsequent to documentation verification.
Operational Cancellations
Technical Failures
If the vessel you are assigned encounters technical issues that remain unsolvable:
- Replacement Yacht: We will make an attempt to provide a similar substitute
- Entire Refund: If no equivalent alternative can be provided
- Partial Refund: If the replacement vessel is different in value
- Additional Reimbursement: Extra compensation may be offered for the inconvenience experienced
Unavailable Crew
In the rare event that an accredited crew is not available:
- A replacement crew will be organized when feasible
- The entire refund if we cannot proceed with the charter
- A new schedule at no extra expense

Method of Repayment
Reimbursements are executed through the same mode of payment originally utilized for the booking:
- Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash or Cheque: 3-5 business days

Charter Credits
Criteria for Credit Issuance
Credits for future charters may be given as an alternative to refunds under certain conditions:
- Eleventh-hour cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
- Cancellations due to adverse weather
- Requests made voluntarily for changes in dates
- Unforeseen operational hurdles
Conditions Pertaining to Credits
- Validity: A period of 12 months from issuance
- Non-transferable: Credits cannot be transferred to others
- Value: Corresponds to the entire value of the charter (excludes service fees)
- Redemption: Applicable towards any forthcoming charters that are available
- Expiry: No extension past the 12-month period
Partial Service Refunds
Disruption of Services
Should your yacht rental be interrupted or cut short under our control:
- A reimbursement apportioned based on the time unused
- Credit equal in value to a future yacht rental
- Complimentary services or upgrades may be offered
Disruptions Caused by Guests
If a rental is discontinued prematurely due to guest actions or breaches of safety:
- No reimbursement for the time not used
- Full payment remains obligatory
- There might be applicability for extra charges
Dispute Settlement
If there's a disagreement with our refund adjudication, you have the option to:
- Request reassessment by our management
- Supply additional proof or documents
- Seek an adjustment via consumer protection entities
- Utilize legal alternatives in accordance with the law
